Medical Fitness Criteria: –

Candidates applying for the posts must meet the prescribed medical standards and be declared medically fit by the competent authority. The following conditions must be satisfied:

1. General Health
Applicants must be in sound physical and mental health. They should not suffer from any bone or joint disorders, physical deformities, or disabilities that may interfere with duty performance. A history of mental illness, epilepsy, or seizure disorders will lead to disqualification.

2. Vision and Hearing Standards
Male candidates must have 6/6 vision in each eye, with or without corrective lenses. Color blindness and night blindness are strictly not permissible. Hearing ability must be normal, with no significant impairment.

3. Cardiovascular, Internal & Skin Health
Blood pressure should be within normal limits. Candidates must not have any functional or organic diseases related to the heart or blood vessels. They must be free from conditions such as HIV, Hydrocele, Varicocele, or Piles. Routine medical investigations including ECG and EEG should show normal results.

4. Physical Deformities and Other Conditions
Candidates must not have deformities such as Claw Hand. Any chronic skin disease or condition likely to cause permanent disability or visible disfigurement will result in disqualification.

Only those candidates who fully satisfy the prescribed medical standards will be considered eligible for appointment.
